D.I.Y Fruit roll ups

We’ve been talking all about family life and making time for each other during the week! Here’s a great midweek snack that you can make with the whole family. Grab any toppings you’d like and let’s go!

What you’ll need:

  • 2 cups of chopped mango
  • 2 cups of chopped strawberries
  • Honey
  • Parchment paper
  • Oven tray
  • Cooking spray
  • Spoon
  • Blender (you can use a fork, but it will take longer and not be as smooth)

How to make it:

  • Preheat the oven to 80 degrees Celsius.
  • Spray the oven tray with cooking spray.
  • Line the oven tray with parchment paper.
  • Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor and pureé until smooth.
  • Pour into prepared pans and smooth out with a spatula so that the mixture is even.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 4 to 8 hours, or until fruit is thoroughly dried.
  • Remove from oven and let cool.
  • Remove from plastic wrap and place firmly on pieces of plastic wrap on a flat work surface.
  • Using a scissors, cut into strips.
  • Roll strips up and store in a sealed container for up to 2 weeks.
