AIR FRYER PARMESAN CHICKEN WINGS
If you’re a fan of some delicious fried chicken then you’re in luck because today in the HO3 kitchen we’re putting our air fryer to the test and making some delicious garlic parmesan chicken wings with a yummy honey and mustard dipping sauce – the best mixture of sweet and sour!
For chicken seasoning you’ll need:
- 2 Pounds split chicken wings
- 3 Tbsps all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- Olive oil spray
For the garlic parmesan you’ll need:
- ¼ Cup salted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 Tbsps grated parmesan cheese
Just like our ingredients, we have made sure that all of our equipment is cleaned and ready to be used.
- Air Fryer
- Wooden spoon
Step 1: Mix the flour, corn-starch, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper and salt in a bowl.
Step 2: Throw over half of the mixture on the chicken, wait a couple of seconds and then add in the other half.
Step 3: Place in the air fryer and add some olive oil to help the chicken crisp up.
Step 4: Take softened butter and place in the pan along with the garlic
powder, parsley, salt and parmesan cheese.
Now it’s time to make the honey mustard sauce.
You will need:
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup honey
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoon tahini
- 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
Combine all of the ingredients into a bowl and stir until smooth. After that we’re going to remove our chicken from the air fryer and pour our garlic parmesan sauce over the chicken!
